Hat Creek Rim Overlook
Hat Creek Rim Overlook will open mid to late April.Come by to take in the view of the stunning landscape, learn a little about the local history, and perhaps take a walk along the Pacific Crest Trail. For more information about the geology of the Hat Creek Valley, explore the Old Station Visitor Information Center, Spatter Cones Trail and Subway Cave. These sites are all located within a few miles of Hat Creek Rim Overlook.
There are picnic tables, vault toilets but no running water.

Activities
Day Hiking
Take a stroll on the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail. The trail crosses the right at the overlook, just follow the sidewalk.
Viewing Scenery
Enjoy the panoramic view of the surrounding volcanic landscape. Breathtaking Lassen Peak to the south and the majestic Mt. Shasta to the north enclose a rugged yet beautiful Hat Creek Valley.
