Current Conditions: The Mud Lake Trail Head for the Pacific Crest Trail is closed for the winter. The facilities will reopen in late April. Visit this quiet spot for overnight camping along the trail.  There is plenty of turn around space for horse trailers.

The Mud Lake Trail Head is located 1 mile off of state route 44 on FS Road 34N34.
