Self-guided interpretive trail through the origin of the Hat Creek Lava Flow.  See spatter cones, craters, and a beautiful view of the Hat Creek Valley.  Loop trail, approximately 1.7 miles long.

Current Conditions: Hike along the fissure of the Hat Creek Lava Flow.  Check out the cones and craters and enjoy a spectacular view of Lassen Peak to the south.

Large parking area with turn around, adequate for buses and RV's.
