Slide Group Campground

Slide Group Campground has a 90 person capacity. Parking is limited to approximately 12 trailers or 50 automobiles. Mixed evergreen & aspen surround the site. Access to the National Recreation Rim Trail (T105) can be found at the site. A pavilion with tables, fire rings, toilet, and garbage depositories are found at the site. These units are available by reservation only. RV's limited to 35'.

General Information


From Cloudcroft, turn south from US82 onto NM130. Continue on NM130 for approximately 2 miles where you will turn right onto NM6563 (Sunspot Scenic By-Way). Less than a 1000' onto NM6563 you will see the turn off for the Slide Group Campground on the right.
