Located at the west end of the Village of Cloudcroft, the Trestle Recreation Area offers a day-use picnicking site with access to popular area trails. Water, restroom facilities, interpretive information, access to trails, picnic sites. This is a day-use facility only.

Current Conditions: Currently closed for winter while crews work to remove a mistletoe infestation in the area. The nearby trail network remains open, however you will have to access the trails without going through the Trestle Recreation Area (aka the Depot).

General Information

Directions: The Trestle Recreation Area is located just west side of Cloudcroft off of US82 a few 100 feet just west of the NM130/US82 intersection. Turn onto Forest Road 24M.
