The campground has 73 campsites complete with a picnic table, barbecue and fire ring. In a Mixed conifer forest. Room for tents and RVs. Beautiful scenic views. Picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilet. No water.

Reservations:  54 sites campsites are now on the reservation system. 18 sites are first-come, first-serve. 

Group Campgrounds by reservation only: www.recreation.gov or by calling 1-877-444-6777. There are 2 group campsites; one accommodates up to 60 people and the other one accommodates up to 80 people.

Campground is managed by the Parks Management Company for the Forest Service. www.campone.com.

In campgrounds and picnic areas, dogs must be kept on a leash. Dogs must wear a collar with current tags at all times, as state and county laws apply on National Forest System lands.

Fees: McGill Family Campground sites are $30 each. There are 72 family campground sites. Day use only at the campground is $10.00 a day. Additional vehicle charge is $10.00 per night per vehicle. McGill has 2 group campsites @ $150.00 per site per night. Group Camp I can accommodate up to 80 people per night and 10 vehicles, an RV or towed trailer are considered one of the vehicles. Group Camp II can accommodate up to 60 people and ten vehicles. Additional vehicles are $10 per night.

General Information

Directions: From I-5, take Frazier Park exit (Frazier Mountain Park Road), go west approximately 6 miles. The road name changes to Cuddy Valley Road. Continue on it up Mt. Pinos. The road name changes to Mt. Pinos Highway. McGill Campground is approximately 5 miles further on the north side of road.
