Aliso Trailhead

Opportunity for a shady 1 mile hike along Aliso Creek or a more strenuous 3.5 mile loop. The first mile is also a self-guided interpretive trail. The walk along the ridgetop offers views of the Santa Ynez River. The loop trail can also be accessed from Upper Oso Campground.

**As of November 1, 2016, the Aliso Trail Parking Area will be managed by the Parks Management for the Forest Service. $10 per vehicle or you can purchase and use the Parks Management Annual Day Use Pass for $50. Pass can be purchased from the PMC at www.campone.com or by calling 805-434-1996 or purchased from the campground hosts at Paradise Campground, Upper Oso Campground or Sage Hill Campground.

General Information

Directions: From Santa Barbara Hwy 101, 10 miles NW on Hwy 154, 4.5 miles East on Paradise, turn left at Ranger Station, go 1/2 mile to Sage Hill Group Campground. Trailhead parking lot is near loop 5.
