Meeks Bay Campground
Meeks Bay Campground is located on National Forest lands on the west shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe and is operated under a special use permit by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California. Desolation Wilderness is nearby and easily accessed for excellent day hiking and backpacking. Standing BBQ's and metal fire rings available at all sites. Please use metal fire rings provided at each campsite and do not build additional fire rings.

|Closed for Winter; No Restrooms or Trash Service; No campfires (wood or charcoal) when the campground and resort are closed. No pets.
|Reservations must be made online at www.recreation.gov.
|Maximum vehicle length is 20 feet. Maximum group size per site is six people and one vehicle. Please park your vehicles in the designated spots only. There is a fee for additional vehicles. Pets are not permitted at the resort or campgrounds. Service animals are allowed with proper documentation.

Meeks Bay Campground is located on Highway 89 approximately 10 miles south of Tahoe City and eight miles north of Emerald Bay, on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.
