Meeks Bay Campground
Area Status: Closed
Meeks Bay Campground is located on National Forest lands on the west shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe and is operated under a special use permit by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California. Desolation Wilderness is nearby and easily accessed for excellent day hiking and backpacking. Standing BBQ's and metal fire rings available at all sites. Please use metal fire rings provided at each campsite and do not build additional fire rings.

Directions:Meeks Bay Campground is located on Highway 89 approximately 10 miles south of Tahoe City and eight miles north of Emerald Bay, on the West Shore of Lake Tahoe.
