Meeks Bay Campground

Area Status: Closed

Meeks Bay Campground is located on National Forest lands on the west shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe and is operated under a special use permit by the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California. Desolation Wilderness is nearby and easily accessed for excellent day hiking and backpacking. Standing BBQ's and metal fire rings available at all sites. Please use metal fire rings provided at each campsite and do not build additional fire rings.

Restrictions: Maximum vehicle length is 20 feet. Maximum group size per site is six people and one vehicle. Please park your vehicles in the designated spots only. There is a fee for additional vehicles. Pets are not permitted at the resort or campgrounds. Service animals are allowed with proper documentation.
