Meeks Bay Resort is located on the west shore of beautiful Lake Tahoe on Highway 89. This resort is on National Forest land and is operated under a special use permit by the Washoe Tribe of California and Nevada. Whether you elect to play in the sun, enjoy water sports, hike mountain trails or just be alone the comfortable lake front lodging, the modern campsites welcome you for a fun day, restful evening and sound sleep. Day guests are invited to sunbathe on white sand beaches, barbecue their catch, play in Lake Tahoe waters. The visitor's center has a snack bar, conference and meeting rooms, and gift shop. Whether on a day trip, a weekend excursion or an extended vacation, Meeks Bay offers the best relaxation and recreation that Lake Tahoe has to offer.
