Skyline Trailhead
Provides eastern access to SkylineTrail #385 which enters Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. The trailhead does have parking for horse trailers. The Skyline Trail is a great starting point for those wishing to day hike or backpack into the Strawberry Mountain wilderness.

General Information
Directions:From the town of Prairie City, OR., turn onto South Main Street. Follow South Main Street to the junction with Bridge Street turn left onto Bridge Street. Continue on Bridge Street past the local cemetary, the road becomes County Road 62, continue on County Road 62 for approximately 17 miles to the junction with Forest Road 101. Turn left onto Forest Road 101 and travel approximately 2 miles to the trailhead.

There is parking at the trailhead for horse trailers.

Day Hiking
The Skyline Trail #385 is approximately 17.8 miles in length and connects to many other trails throughout the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. Two miles along the Skyline Trail the trail connects with the Big Creek/SnowShoe trail that also leads into the wilderness.
