Pine Spring Fire Overlook Trail
Great for a quick way to stretch your legs, this short trail provides an opportunity to see how the forest recovers after a fire. Stroll out to a rock point that overlooks the Pine Springs Basin an area still in the early successional stages of recovery from wildfires. The Pine Springs Overlook Observation Site is the trailhead for this trail, with a covered shelter area, hikers can hike the short trail and then enjoy a picnic.

General Information
Directions:From Burns, Oregon travel west on US Highway 20 approximately 1 mile to the junction with the County Road 127 approximately 12 to the junction with Forest Road 41 at the sign for Yellow Jacket and Delintment Lake. Follow Forest Road 41 3.5 miles, turn left at the sign for Pine Springs Overlook. The interpretive site will be at the end of the drive.
