Oowah Lake

Oowah Lake is a small 2.9 acre lake situated at 8800 feet in the La Sal Mountains located off Oowah Lake Road, Forest Road #076. The Department of Wildlife Resources of Utah (DWR) stocks this reservoir with Rainbow Trout.  It's located by Oowah Campground.

Directions:

From Moab, head south on US-191 and travel 7.8 miles. Turn left onto County Rd/Old Airport Rd. At the T-intersection, turn right onto the La Sal Mountain Loop Rd and travel for approximately 10 miles. Turn right at the Oowah sign onto Forest Road #076. Please drive slowly up the winding gravel road about 3 miles to Oowah Lake.
