The Texas Trail #476 is 2.2 miles long.  It begins off of Forest Trail #002 (Arch Canyon) and follows the USFS boundary along the bottom of Texas Canyon and the intermittent stream in Texas Canyon.

East End (Trail #002):  5,629 feet 

West End (FS Bndry):   6,174 feet

Current Conditions: This trail is not regularly maintained and the trail maybe difficult to follow.  Trail conditions vary widely with weather events and during spring runoff.  Check with the Monticello Ranger District for updated information.

Restrictions: Open to: Hiking and Horseback Riding.
Closest Towns: Blanding and Monticello, UT

General Information


From Blanding, head south on US-191 S/S Main St and travel 3.9 miles.  Turn right onto US-95 N and travel 14.3 miles.  Turn right onto Comb Wash and travel 2.4 miles.  Turn right and travel 500 feet to Arch Canyon Trail (jeep road).  Travel by OHV or Jeep up the trail rougly 7.5 miles to Forest Boundary and Arch Canyon Trail #002.  Texas Trail #476 will be located on your left.
