White Rim Trail East

Area Status: Open

The White Rim Trail East #424 is 3.4 miles long.  It begins at Forest Road #088 and ends at Forest Trail #425.  Trail can be combined with the North Long Point and Beef Basin Trails for a longer ride.


Elevation Change:

South East End (Road #088):  8,395 feet

North West End (Trail #425):   7,831 feet

Restrictions: Open to:  Hiking, Mountain Biking, Horseback Riding, Motorcycle Trail Riding, and Off Highway Vehicles (OHV) less than or equal to 50 inches wide.

General Information


From Blanding, travel south on US-191 for approximately 3.9 miles.  Turn right onto UT-95 and continue approximately 6.3 miles.  Turn right onto South Elks Road #092 and travel approximately 19.9 miles.  Turn right onto Elk Ridge Road #088 and travel approximately 18.8 miles to White Rim Trail located on your left.
