Freeman Picnic site provides 4 tables with fire rings and is located on the shore or Freeman Reservoir. The reservoir offers fishing and hiking opportunities. No motor-propelled craft, including electric motors are allowed on the reservoir. There is accessible fishing bump-outs and a hardened trail that follows along the south shore of the reservoir.

General Information

Directions: Directions from Craig, CO. Travel North on Highway 13 for 12 miles, then east on Moffat County Road 11 (Freeman Reservoir Access). Continue on the graveled road for 8 1/2 miles to the recreation area.
