Buffalo Pass TH: Trail #1101, CDNST
Located on the summit of Buffalo Pass. Trail # 1101. Great multi-use trailhead. Trail 1101 (CDT) to the North leads you into Mount Zirkel Wilderness for hiking and horse back rides. Mountain and dirt biking is very popular on the dirt roads of the 1101 to the South is a Motorized (single and double track) trail connecting to the 1134 trail. Foot and bike travel can also continue to Base Camp Trailhead, or the 1102 trail to Fish Creek Falls. Fishing is readily available at numerous high alpine lakes scattered throughout the area.
This trailhead is located in the Steamboat Springs Area.

General Information
Directions:Directions from Steamboat Springs: Travel 2 miles north of Steamboat Springs on Routt County Road 36 (Strawberry Park Road), then 13 miles northeast on Routt County Road 38 (Buffalo Pass Road 60). Trailhead is at the summit.
