Pinkham Mountain Trailhead

Area Status: Open

Informal trailhead with limited parking and no facilities but access to many miles of roads and trails for OHV travel.  It is located in the Snowy Range and is managed by the Parks Ranger District.

General Information

Directions: From Walden: Drive north 13 miles on Colorado Hwy 125 to the junction with Colorado Hwy 127. Follow Hwy 127 to the right, toward Kings Canyon and Laramie. Approximately 7 miles from the 125/127 junction, take Forest Road 895, the Camp Creek Road, to the west. The road crosses private land for the first 1/2 mile then enters the Forest. About 3 miles into the forest, the trailhead is located near the intersection of the Camp Creek and Pinkham Mountain roads (NFSRs 895 and 891). A variety of motorized trails are easily accessible from this site, including the Bear Draw and Pinkham Mountain OHV trails.
