Brooklyn Lake Campground

Due to snow, this campground generally opens in mid July.
The campground is located on Brooklyn Lake. Every site has a view of the lake ranging from great to spectacular. The lake is a nice canoeing lake in the shadow of the snow capped Browns Peak.  This campground provides 19 campsites with tables, fire rings, trash pick up, vault toilet.  There is fishing access in Brooklyn Lake and trail access to the Sheep Lake Trail #389 and Glacier Lakes Trail. Internal-combustion motors are prohibited on the lake. There is a carry down access for boats (no ramp).  Dogs must be leashed in the campground.

It is located in the Snowy Range and is managed by the Laramie Ranger District.

Directions: Directions from Laramie: Travel 37 miles west on Highway 130, then 21/2 miles north on Brooklyn Lake Road (National Forest Service road 315).
