Green Rock Picnic Site


Area Status: Open

This is a great place to stop and stretch your legs and have a picnic along the Snowy Range Scenic Byway.  It provides accessable picnic tables, vault toilet, and drinking water.  It also serves as an access to Libby Creek Trail for a great day hike, or for winter cross country ski trail. Day use fee of $5/vehicle/day.

Snowmobile parking only in designated areas alongside Highway 130. Do not park on the open roadway or in the turn around. No trailers in the Green Rock parking lot. The area does access the U and O snowmobile trails. Do not ride snowmobiles in or on ski areas and trails. (WYDOT web cam) (State Snowmobile Maps)

General Information

Directions: Take Highway 130 west 30 miles from Laramie to Centennial. Green Rock is 4 miles west of Centennial.
