Teal Lake Campground

This area is Closed

17 campsites and a group area near Teal Lake.  Only electric boats or nonmotorized boats permitted on Teal Lake. Hiking in the Mount Zirkel wilderness. ATV use permitted on nearby Grizzly-Helena Trail. This area has been affected by the mountain pine beetle epidemic and has been logged in recent years.  This campground is located in the Mount Zirkel/Parks Range and is managed by the Parks Ranger District.

Current Conditions: Campground and day use areas are closed for the season. The campground gate was left open so you are welcome to disperse camp, however there will be no services, and you'll want to plan to pack anything you bring in, back out with you.

General Information

Directions: From Walden: Take Hwy 14 west for approximately 11 miles to Hebron. Turn right on County Road 24 driving west. After approximately 10 miles the road becomes Forest Road 60 and passes the Grizzly Creek Guard Station. Turn right on Forest Road 615. Drive approximately 3 miles turning right into the Teal Lake Campground.
