Artist Point Trailhead
Provides access to: Artist Ridge Trail 669, Chain Lakes Trail 682, Ptarmigan Ridge Trail 682.1, and Table Mountain Trail 681.
These trails access Mt. Baker Wilderness.
The road to Artist Point is not plowed and is closed to vehicles during the winter months. There is no set closure or opening date, but it is typically open by the beginning of July and closes with the first significant snowfall which can happen anytime between the end of September - beginning of November.

General Information
Directions:From Glacier, WA travel east to the end of Mt. Baker Highway SR 542. It is approximately 24 miles from the Glacier Public Service Center to the Artist Point parking lot.
