Middle Fork Campground

Area Status: Closed

This campground is located along the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. The site is forested with Douglas-fir, cedar and western hemlock, providing abundant shade.  From the western part of the campground access the CCC Trail. Turn left at first junction and cross Middle Fork Road to the Middle Fork Trailhead and miles of hiking on Middle Fork Trail 1003. At the north end, climb to a shelter and viewpoint or follow Middle Fork Snoqualmie Little Interpretive Trail from the campground, passing by the Taylor River.

Directions:

North to Seattle on I-5 swing East on I-90 to North bend. Take Exit #34 from I-90. Drive north on 468th Avenue. In 0.6 miles, turn right onto SE Middle Fork Road (FS Road #56). Go approximately 12 miles. The campground is 1/2 mile past the Middle Fork Trail Trailhead.

General Notes:

A picnic table and fire ring is available at each campsite. The campground is located in close proximity to the Middle Fork Trailhead and the Middle Fork of the Snoqualmie River. Garbage service is available. The campground has 36 tent or trailer units, all sites are accessible. None of the sites have electrical hook ups.

Campground Camping

A nice combination of sun and shade, this campground is in close proximity to the Middle Fork Trailhead. This trail is open to hikers, horsemen and Mt. Bikes. Mt. Bikes may only use the trail on odd numbered calendar days.

There is one group site with a maximum capacity of 35-40 people.

Larger motor homes will not fit in any of the sites, although the smaller motor homes would be fine. Allowable trailer length is 35 feet, with a few suitable for up to 40 feet.
