Deception Falls Picnic Area

  

Visit this scenic picnic area and enjoy a half-mile interpretive trail with a viewing platform up-close and personal to the crashing sprays of the falls. A must-see when the spring runoff is flowing. The picnic area includes an accessible covered picnic shelter, tables and restroom facilities.

Interpretive Areas

Follow the 0.5 mile, self-guided nature loop with interpretive signs on forest ecology and succession. The walk is under the shade of old growth trees with some gentle climbing, good for a leg-stretching break from your trip across the mountains on Highway 2.
