Sulphur Creek Trail 793

Area Status: Temporarily Closed
This area is Closed

The Sulphur Creek Trail is temporarily closed due to wildfire activity. Please respect this closure for your safety and that of our firefighters.

The trail begins directly across from the Sulpher Creek Campground, climbing rather steeply at first, through a beautiful green forest of young and old-growth timber.  Wind in and out high above the water, eventually dropping down to follow the creek more closely, passing small pools and waterfalls, with the trail eventually fading and becoming difficult to follow after about a mile.

The trail enters the Glacier Peak Wilderness about a fourth mile from the Suiattle River Road.

The Sulpher warm springs are undeveloped and difficult to find.
