Boardman Lake/ Lake Evan Trail 704

For those wanting a picnic stop near the road, 12.8-acre Lake Evan provides a peaceful wooded setting. Most of the lakeshore is too marshy to use, but just off the trail is firm ground.

Just after 100 yards the trail enters old-growth forest for 0.8 miles to the outlet of Boardman Lake. On the other side of the outlet are five established campsites with a box toilet nearby. Continue a bit further south for a group campsite before the trail fades out in the brush.
