Permit Info: Wilderness Permits are required for day use and overnight trips in Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Permits are free and available on a self-issue basis at trailheads.

Best Season: Summer/Fall
Restrictions: Trail is closed to bicycles and motorized vehicles. Dogs must be on a leash. The Pacific Crest Trail travels through designated Wilderness where wilderness regulations apply.

Passes: Recreation Passes may be used as a form of fee payment.

General Information

Directions:

From North Bend travel east on I-90 to exit #52. Turn north. Take the first immediate right into the Pacific Crest Trail #2000 parking lot. A stock loading lot is located to the left. The road continues straight to the general hiking access and parking lot.
