Okhissa Lake
Welcome to the Homochitto National Forest and beautiful Okhissa Lake, a 1075-acre recreational lake for fishing, boating, picknicking and a seasonal swimming area. Okhissa Lake currently offers many amenities and additional improvements are planned for the future. Please recreate safely and enjoy your visit. If you have a great day on the lake, remember to tell your friends and neighbors and help boost the economy in Franklin and surrounding counties. Features three gravel parking areas and 39 miles of shoreline.

The swimming area is on the north end of lake which has picnic tables, bathrooms and an outdoor shower. There is no lifeguard on duty so swim at your own risk.
