Clear Springs Recreation Area

Area Status: Open
A strip of land with a small pavilion jutting out into a clear lake surrounded by forests.

Nestled among pine covered hills, you will find a cool, 12-acre spring-fed lake, which offers a variety of recreation opportunities for everyone. Camping, swimming, fishing and picnicking are available at the lake and four mountain bike and hiking trails begin within the recreation area. This area has steep terrain. The roads within the recreation area are paved with slopes greater than 8 percent.

Fully accessible cement access routes connect the parking area, pavilion, amphitheater and restrooms. There are no accessible routes to the beach or fishing areas. The bathhouses are fully accessible. Some accessible campsites and accessible parking spaces are available. Boat trailers are prohibited.
