Bethel OHV Trails

Area Status: Open
Two people riding all-terrain vehicles down a forest trail.

This is a 43-mile trail established for all-terrain vehicles of widths no greater than 50 inches (primarily motorcycles, three- and four-wheelers). The rider will encounter the south Mississippi Coastal Plains vegetative types (longleaf and slash pine, hardwood flats, swamps, pitcher plants, etc.). Motorcycle Enduros are held annually and attract riders from various southern states. 

Facilities include a trailhead with primitive campsites and vault toilet (no water).

Trail use fee ($10 per user per day); ticket stub must be on each person. Operators must have valid driver’s license; under age 16 must have safety certificate and helmet.

Call before you haul. Trail may be closed after wet weather for periods of seven to 10 days or until conditions are suitable for re-opening. If the gate to the parking area is closed, the trail is closed. You can call ahead to the De Soto Ranger District Office at 601-528-6180.
