Blue Lake Boating Site

  

Forest Visitors enjoy the boat dock at Blue Lake

Blue Lake, located near the South Warner Wilderness, is a favorite for local anglers and is stocked by the California Department of Fish and Wildlife.  A boat dock is available in summer only.   There is a campground, trails and ample, paved parking for boat trailers.

General Information

Directions:

From Alturas go south on US Hwy 395 to Likely, CA. Turn east on County Road 64 (aka Jess Valley Rd) and go 3.2 miles to Blue Lake Road. Turn right on Blue Lake Road and follow the signs approximately 7.5 more miles to the boat ramp.
