Olallie Lake Trail # 731
This is a nice easy trail along the shore of Olallie Lake. The trail has several great views along the way. This trail begins at Paul Dennis Campground (4,960’) on the north shore and ends at Camp Ten Campground (4,960’) on the south shore. This is an easy trail with several great views along the way. Olallie Lake Trail #731 mainly follows the lakeshore, but it is necessary to walk on the road in places. Long Lake Trail #730 at 0.8 mile leads east to Long Lake and into the Warm Springs Indian Reservations. At 1.1 miles is the Monolallie Lake Trail #732 which connects the Olallie Trail with the Monon Lake Trail #729. At 1.3 miles the trail enters Peninsula Campground at Camp site #8. Follow the campground road in a clockwise manner to the Group campsite. The trail leaves the campground from the north side of the campsite. The trail continues along the shore of Olallie lake for another 1.4 miles to Camp Ten Campground.

From Portland, OR - travel east on US Hwy 26 to Sandy. Turn right (southwest) on OR Hwy 211 and travel 6.1 miles to OR Hwy 224. Turn left (southeast) on OR Hwy 224 and travel 30.6 miles to Forest Road 46. Turn right on Forest Road 46 and travel 14.8 miles to Forest Road 42. Turn left Forest Road 42 and travel 4.3 miles to Forest Road 4220. Turn right (south) on Forest Road 4220 and travel 11.9 miles to Forest Road 4220-170 (Paul Dennis Campground Road). Turn left on 4220-170 and follow it 0.4 mile to the parking area in the campground. The trail begins at the south end of Paul Dennis campground between campsites #14 and #15.
