Clear Lake Day Use/Picnic Site

Adjacent to Clear Lake. This site is wheelchair accessible. It is easily accessible off Highway 26, a major two lane highway.

Clear Lake is not a natural lake but a reservoir created and managed under a long-term permit for agricultural irrigation off the forest.  The lake usually becomes increasingly shallow beginning in early July.

Directions:

From Sandy, follow Highway 26 east for about 38 miles and go right on Forest Road 2630 and follow to Clear Lake Campground and Day Use area.
