Peninsula (Olallie Lake) Campground
Area Status: Closed
Peninsula Campground is the largest campground on Olallie Lake, in the Olallie Lake Scenic Area. Olallie Lake is a large, high-elevation lake bordered in part by the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs Reservation. As the name suggests, Peninsula Campground is on a large chunk of land that extends out into the lake - an ideal location for fishermen and paddle boaters.

General Information
Directions:From Estacada, OR - drive south on Highway 224 for 45 miles. The road becomes Forest Service Road 46. From Road 46, turn east onto Forest Service Road 4690 and drive 6 miles on pavement, then about 3 miles on gravel, to a junction with Forest Road 4220. Turn south and continue 5 miles past Olallie Lake Resort to the Peninsula Campground. The roads are closed in the winter.
