Pine Point Day Use Area is located on the shores of Timothy Lake in the shadow of Oregon's Mt. Hood. It is a beautiful place for fishing, picnicing, swimming, or starting a hike or bike ride on a nearby trail. The area is accessible.

Directions:
From Sandy, OR - travel east on Highway 26 for approximately 40 miles to Skyline Road (Forest Road 42). Turn right on Skyline Road, travel south 9 miles. Turn right on Forest Service Road 57, west 2 miles, turn right at the Pine Point Campground entrance sign.
Rainbow trout, brook trout, kokanee, cutthroat trout. Trout are stocked in the lake several times a year.

A hiking trail circles the lake, and the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail passes by the east shore of the lake, leading north to Little Crater Lake Geological Area.

Boating in Timothy Lake. 10 mph speed limit for motorized boats. An artificial lake, it has many developed campgrounds, and is one of a few lakes on the Mt. Hood National Forest that allows motorized boating.
