Casey Creek Trail

This trail is in the Mark O. Hatfield Wilderness.  There are several views once on the Nick Eaton Ridge. This trail runs from Herman Creek Trail #406 to Nick Eaton Trail #447. This is a good training trail for those looking for a more rugged and longer hiking experience.

From Herman Creek Trail #406 (1,600’)  the trail heads up a steep hill for approximately 1 mile before reaching a ridge (2,880’).    The trail continues to climb 0.8 mile to the trail’s end at Nick Eaton Trail #447.

From Portland, OR head east to the Herman Creek Campground accessed from the Frontage Rd. on the eastside of Cascade Lochs, OR. Access via Herman Creek Trail.
