Tilly Jane South Trailhead

  

Provides access to: Tilly Jane Ski Trail #643. Information boards about the area on site. Access to ungroomed backcountry trails in winter.

Tilly Jane Ski Trail is tagged with blue ski tags. The Wagon Road has not been re-tagged since the fire. These are difficult trails requiring skins to ascend and moderate to steep descend. Cloud Cap Road provides an easier skiing option.

Space for 20 vehicles in the Sno Park area. No trailer parking. Tilly Jane Cabin access.

General Information

Directions:

From Hood River, OR - take Highway 35 to Cooper Spur Road, turn west onto Cooper Spur Road and after 2 miles turn left on Forest Road 3512 - Cloud Cap Road. Continue toward Cooper Spur Ski area and at the end of the plowed road, you will see a small sno-park and a gated road. Park here and the trailhead will be on your left. There is a sign at the trail head with a map, and other information about the area.
