Eagle Creek Cutoff Trail #504

Area Status: Open
This area is Open

This hiker/horse trail lies within the Salmon-Huckleberry Wilderness.  It is a great place to find solitude as it is one of the least traveled trails in the area.  It mainly functions as a connection between Old Baldy Trail #502 and Eagle Creek Trail #501.

The north end of this trail starts at a ford at the east end of Eagle Creek Trail then climbs steadily at a moderate grade and switchbacks numerous times. The south end is the junction with Old Baldy Trail #502. The trail has no good campsite options and has no water except for a small riparian area near the top.
