Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort operates on a special use permit on the Mt. Hood National Forest, offering some of the most spectacular skiing and snowboarding in the Northwest. Meadows is a full-service winter resort providing everything you need for a refreshing and memorable day on the mountain. Base facilities are housed in North and South lodges (easy access to five lifts) and includes equipment rental and demo centers, sport shops, restaurants, adult and children's ski schools and daycare. Also a satellite base lodge and skier services center at Hood River Meadows.

Take Hwy 26 east to Government Camp.
Then north on Hwy 35 - 10 miles to Meadows.

If you prefer an easier less congested drive...
Take I - 84 to Exit 64 in Hood River
Follow Hwy 35, 35 miles to the Mt. Hood Meadows Entrance.

From Hood River

Highway 35 - 35 miles south to the Mt. Hood Meadows entrance.

Meadows offers around 2,750 parking spaces that are located in 3 parking lots - our Main Lot which services the North and South Lodges and our main base area, the Sunrise Lot located along the main access road to our Main Lot, and the Hood River Meadows (HRM) Lot located a mile north of our main access road servicing the Hood River Meadows Skier Services Center, the Hood River Express Lift and our Nordic Center.

From the steeps of the front side bowls to the gentle slopes of our beginner runs, Mt. Hood Meadows Ski Resort terrain is known for its diversity and playfulness.With 11 lifts, including five high-speed quads, the entire 2,150 acres of skiable terrain is easily accessed. XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

Mount Hood Meadows Ski Resort Nordic Center offers up to 15 kilometers of groomed and set track through beautiful wooded trails and meadows including skating and traditional striding lanes. There is no snow shoeing at the Nordic Center.

The Nordic Center is located at the Hood River Meadows parking lot, 1 mile north of the main entrance to Meadows on Highway 35. The Nordic Center is a modular building at the east end of the Hood River Meadows parking lot (not the Hood River Meadows lodge – skier services building found near the bottom of the Hood River Express).

The Nordic Center is where you purchase your track fee, as well as rent equipment or arrange for cross country lessons.
