Teacup Nordic

  

During the winter, groomed cross country skiing trails are maintained by the Teacup Nordic. Please visit Teacup Nordic online for more information such as snow pack, events, and more. The surrounding trails are surrounded by towering Douglas firs.

The Teacup Nordic area accesses ungroomed trails open to xcountry skiing and snow shoeing. Snowshoes are allowed on the ungroomed Forest Service trails that include Teacup Lake Trail, Pocket Creek Trail, Pocket Creek Tie, and Meadows Creek Trail.  

There is space for 175 vehicles in the parking area with trailer parking available. This convenient staging area is ideal for accessing the Teacup winter trails just beyond the parking area.

From Hood River, OR - Travel 36.5 miles south on Oregon Highway 35. The large parking area will be on your left.

XC Skiing/Snowshoeing

Access to 20 km of groomed backcountry ski trails and Access Tracks set for skating and touring skis.  See http://www.teacupnordic.org/ for additional information. Snowshoeing is not permitted at Teacup Nordic Fee Area

Also Access to 15 miles of ungroomed winter trails open to crosscountry ski and snowshoeing, Those trails include Meadows Creek Trail 679A Pocket Creek Trail 682, Pocket Creek Tie 682A and Teacup 681( ungroomed), Phillory 683 and Bennett Pass 684D.
