Sutton Bluff ATV, UTV, and Motorcycle Trail System

As of Feburary 11, 2019, Trails 4 and 5 are closed from flood damage. West end of Trail 8 is closed for maintenance. Trail 12 is closed for compromised structural integrity of the bridge.

These trails are located within the rugged river breaks of the West Fork of the Black River. The segmented trails are accessed via county roads and Forest Service system roads, and total approximately 45 miles. There are varying levels of difficulty over each segment, following forested ridge tops and crossing deep hollows. State regulations apply on all vehicles using public roads. Trail use permits are required and are for ATVs, UTVs and motorcycles only. No ATVs, UTVs or equipment greater than 50 inches in width are permitted on trails. Current Conditions: Trail 11 is closed due to bridge outage. All other Trails are Open at this time.
Fees Riding permit required. ATVs, UTVs and Motorcycles - Season pass: $45, Daily: $7 for ATVs, UTVs and motorcycles. Permits can also be purchased at the Reynolds County Sheriff’s 911 office located in Centerville, MO (Northwest corner of the Reynolds County Courthouse lawn), at a cost for Season pass: $50, Daily $10 as well as the County permits. Mountain Bikes - Season Pass: $20, Daily: $3.
Permit Info: Reynolds county permits are required for ATVs and UTV’s accessing trails via county roads, and Forest Service system roads. Forest Service Permits required for motorized trail use. Unlicensed motorcyhcles are not permitted on county or Forest Service system roads. Permits are available at Forest Service office in Salem, or at the Reynolds County Sheriff's office located in Centerville, MO. For info on obtaining permits Click Here.

From Centerville MO, Go 3 miles north on MO Hwy 21/72 to Reynolds CO Rd 907. Turn left on 907 and go 7 miles to jctn of Reynolds Co RD 849. Turn left and go 2 miles to Sutton Bluff campground
