East Boyd Trail #703

This is a difficult climb with a steep grade. This trail, along with Trail # 704, forms the East Boyd-Glover Roundtop National Recreation Trail, so a loop is possible. Allow 2-3 days to complete the loop. Trail begins at Boyd Campground at 1640 feet in elevation and ends on Coolwater Road # 317 at an elevation of 6500 feet in the saddle before Roundtop Mountain. This trail has some fine views of the Selway Valley from the upper elevations.
