General Information

Directions: From State Highway 14, turn south onto Red River-Dixie Road #222. Follow Road #222 to Red River Ranger Station (now closed) and its junction with Red River Hot Springs Road #234. Turn east on Road #234 and continue approximately 3 miles to the campground, which is about 6 miles west of Red River Hot Springs.

Activities

Campground Camping

You can view wildlife near Ditch Creek Campground. There are roads for OHV riding, trails to hike, and opportunities to access areas for big game hunting.

Day Hiking

A short loop hike goes up Ditch Creek past several mines, to Red River Campground, and back along the road.
