Hot Springs Creek Trail #581

The Hot Springs Creek Trail #581 begins on Bargamin Creek Trail #502, north of Poet Creek Campground on Road #468. The trail starts in the gassy meadows along Bargamin Creek and ends on Three Prong ridge. The trail crosses five streams including Bargamin Creek within the first two miles. Just past the last creek crossing, the trail begins a moderate climb through lodgepole timber which leads to a saddle at 6400 feet elevation. There is stock water in the saddle, but it is south of the trail. The final 1.5 miles of the trail are a steep climb through switchbacks which end at the junction with Three Prong Trail #539.
