Swastika Trail #233

The trailhead for Swastika Trail #233 is located at the junction with Swastika Road #222-D, at the property boundary of the Comstock Lode south of Dixie Town. From the trailhead, the trail crosses 0.5 mile of private property (the Comstock Lode), then drops down and crosses a shaded Comstock Creek among subalpine fir and spruce. The trail follows a feeder stream a short distance, climbs out around the point of a ridge, drops back into another small stream, and fords it. The vegetation changes to lodgepole as the trail climbs out of this draw and contours toward a ridge top to the south. The trail comes into a saddle and ends at its junction with Lemhi Trail #212.
