This recreation site offers a picnic shelter, fishing, and hiking.

The picnic shelter at this site was constructed in 2010 to resemble the original structure built by the Civilian Conservation Corps which was destroyed by a storm event in the early 1990's.

General Information

Directions: Trailhead parking for the 21-mile Neusiok Trail Turn off US 70 in Havelock onto NC 101. About 4.7 miles east on NC 101, turn left onto Ferry Road (SR1716/NC 306). Travel north for 3.2 miles and turn left onto Forest Road 132. Go 1.5 miles to the recreation site.
