Nestled below the Blue Ridge Parkway on the Pisgah National Forest is the birthplace of forestry in America - the Cradle of Forestry.

The Cradle abounds with ways to have fun while learning about the forest, traditional Blue Ridge culture, and forest management.

Operational Hours: Operational Hours for 2020 are Wed-Mon until November 8
10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Fees Fees: $6 regular admission; 50% admission for federal interagency passholders; FREE admission for youth 12 and under, and Friends of the Cradle members; series of special event prices throughout the season; there are no longer discounted days on Tuesdays. 
Open Season: April 9 - November 8
