Murray Branch Picnic Area

Area Status: Open

Fish along the French Broad River or hike the nearby River Ridge Loop Trail. Walkway to accessible fishing pier. Picnic shelter and grills are available (no fee or reservation).

Operational Hours:  When on season, this recreation area is closed between the hours of 10:00PM and 6:00AM. This area, including restrooms and gate access, will close for the season on October 31st and will reopen April 1st.

Restrictions: Possessing alcoholic beverages, camping and overnight parking are prohibited.

Directions:

From Hot Springs take U.S. 25/70W across the bridge, turn left at the end of the bridge, then right on SR 1304. Go 4 miles.
