Green Mountain South Trailhead

This trailhead is the Southern access point for Green Mountain OHV Trail (#831), which happens to be the only OHV trail in the Ochoco National Forest at this time.  The parking area is small and cannot accommodate many or large vehicles, so please plan accordingly when you come.

General Information

Directions:

From Prineville: Take Highway 26 East for approximately 7 miles past the Ranger Station, then turn Left onto Forest Service Road 33 (Mill Creek Road).  Continue for approximately 5 miles and turn Left at the end of the pavement which will put you onto Forest Road 3370. After about 1/4 mile turn Left on to FS Road 3380 and proceed for about 4 miles.  Green Mountain South Trailhead will be on your Right.
