Provides access toPete Lake Trail #1323 within Alpine Lakes Wilderness.

Current Conditions: Trailhead remains available for use with no fees and no services until snow prevents access.  Pack out all Trash. Leave no Trace. Always check current and forecast weather. 
Operational Hours: Early June through late October
Fees $5/vehicle/day or Recreation Pass required. Day passes available at the trailhead. Discover Pass not valid on National Forest land.
Permit Info: Wilderness Permits are required to enter the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Free self-issuing permits are available at the trailhead.

General Information


From Cle Elum WA take Highway 903 north for about 7.6 miles. Continue on Salmon La Sac Road for another 9.2 miles. Then take a left on Forest Road 46 and follow for 4.7 miles. Take a right on Forest Road 4616 and follow for about a half a mile to the turn off on Road 113. Travel about 1 mile to trailhead.
